Scarlet Bird Slub Canvas Custom Bed

This is what all the chirp's been about...With brawny Bird Toile Scarlet Slub Canvas fabric rated between 25,000 and 49,000 Double Rubs (15,000 is considered heavy use) on top and bottom, these birds aren't fragile! Solid Grey accent cording and Solid Coral banding (the sides/"depth" of the bed) will have you tweeting to all of your friends when this bed arrives on your front porch! (This might be the only time we recommend letting your big dog sit on small birds.)

This classic rectangular pet bed is handcrafted in a boutique shop located in Kansas City to offer a truly revolutionary interpretation of pet furniture, incorporating the highest quality components and fabrics. The result is a traditional, yet unconventional pet bed that matches your dog's (or your) personality, while also offering the ultimate in comfort and durability.

Machine-Washable

The cover is fully removable and washable as it features a concealed upholstery zipper. This zipper goes along the back and wraps around the sides so the insert can be nearly effortlessly removed. All covers are pre-washed, so you can rest easy knowing that you won't experience shrinkage!

Each of these custom geometric beds are made to the highest standards of durability, functionality, and comfort for large and giant breed dogs. Serged seams ensure protection against fraying. Using industrial sewing machines, bonded nylon thread, and upholstery grade zippers for easy access, you are guaranteed a piece of pet furniture that is truly fit for royalty.

Customizable Comfort

We offer three different insert options for this bed, each providing ample support and comfort for your pup:

Fiberfill: Highest quality hypoallergenic fiberfill that won't clump or bunch, and will maintain its support 3x longer than standard fiberfill. Softness can be easily adjusted by removing fiberfill using the zipper. Each insert includes sewn-in channels to hold fiberfill in-place over time.

5" High-Density Foam (HD Foam): Highest quality polyurethane foam that offers long-lasting firm support. Typical life is 10+ years.  This is recommended for Giant Breeds or dogs that like a firm bed.

4" Memory Foam (MEM Foam): High-quality 4lb density hypoallergenic foam that offers pressure relief by distributing weight evenly, preventing pressure points and allowing better circulation. Typical life is 10+ years. The band of the bed is 3" in height if this option is selected.

*Please note that this particular bed has been pre-designed for simplicity, but if you would like a list of additional custom fabrics and colors that you can use to personalize your own bed, please reach out to us. Also, the bottom fabric pictured in the side view of this product has been discontinued. Our default is to use the same pattern pictured for the top fabric. Please let us know if you'd like to change this before ordering.

Options & Add-Ons:

Waterproof Insert Cover: Worried your pet might have an accident? Add a top-of-the-line waterproof insert cover that is stain, mold, and mildew resistant, making cleaning a breeze!

This waterproof fabric has a moisture barrier bonded to the back so water cannot penetrate it! Water-repellent fabrics are not the same, as they are designed to repel water only temporarily as it uses a top finish, which will wear off fairly quickly, unlike our fabric which will not wear off.

This option is only recommended if you think your pet might have an accident in their bed.  If this is not selected then the inserts will be covered in our standard muslin fabric.

Custom Name Embroidery: Personalize your pup's favorite new snooze spot with their name or nickname! (Pictured in product photo, but not the default option.) If you would like to add custom embroidery to your bed, please select the option below, and we will reach out shortly after your order is placed for the following information:

1. The name you would like embroidered on the bed.
2. The color thread that you would like used for the text.
3. The font that you would like used for the text.
4. The placement of their name (either on the top fabric of the bed or the banding, which is the "side" of the bed that you would use to measure height).
