Check out the Super Tug! It uses a more ergonomically friendly horizontal configuration than the vertical configuration seen with traditional spring pole designs, meaning less worry about injuries to your pooch! The Super Tug also uses super strong, marine-grade bungee cord instead of a metal spring. The connection points are designed so that in case of failure, nothing comes flying back towards your dog (or you).

The durable polyester tug is soft on your dog’s mouth, and is MUCH safer than rope tugs, which sometimes have easily-ingested rope strands. With a triple layer handle at one end, 6 tassels, and an overall length of about 12.5 inches, the tug is perfect for any size pooch! The 2” wide polypropylene webbing strap has the strength of heavy chain, and its design ensures that your dog can pull all day without causing damage to your tree's bark! Marine-grade bungee cord ensures that tugging force won't end your fun early. The cord also features “Perfection Loops” tied at the end to eliminate extra connectors, and they function so that they only become tighter with use.

Easy to Use

1. Find a suitable tree, or similar sturdy object, and wrap the Super Tug strap around the base of it, joining the two metal D-Rings together with the metal Quick Link as seen below.

2. Thread the Bungee Cord through the loop of the Tug Toy and then attach both Bungee Cord Loops to the metal Quick Link as seen in Photo 2.

3. Twist the threaded nut built into the Quick Link until the link is closed securely.  The Super Tug should now be ready to use as seen in Photo 3.

4. Encourage your dog to start playing tug-of-war by holding the Tug Toy by the looped handle.  Once your dog begins to pull, release the Tug Toy and allow your dog to continue playing tug-of-war against the resistance of the bungee cord as seen in Photo 4.

Safety Warnings & Tips

• For best results, also use the Super Tug as a training aid during play. For example, instruct your dog to sit and wait before being released by your command to start playing. After a few minutes of play, instruct your dog to drop the toy and then start the process over again.
• Only use the Super Tug outdoors on a grass or earth surface to prevent damage to your dog’s paw pads.
• Always supervise your dog while playing with the Super Tug and store out of your dog’s reach when finished playing.
• Never let your dog bite or chew on the Bungee Cord. Immediately stop them and redirect their attention to the Tug Toy if this occurs.
• Inspect the Super Tug, especially the Bungee Cord, frequently for damage. Discontinue use if damage is found. Replacement Bungee Cord sections and Tug Toys are available. Please reach out if you would like to order replacement parts!
